The Sedalia Bombers fell to Nevada in 16 innings 6-5 on Sunday. Jamie Graseser singled home the winning run with two out in the bottom of the 16th.

Nevada jumped out to a 3-1 lead before the Bombers scored three in the top of the ninth thanks to a Jordan Dey two-run home run and an Alex Del Rio solo home run but the Griffons scored a run in the 10th to tie it.

Both teams had runners on in the 10th but could not score. The Bombers stranded a runner in the 11th and got out of the bottom of that inning with help from a double play.

The Griffons put a pair of runners on in the 12th but could not score and had two on again in the 13th before a double play to end the inning.

The Bombers had a chance in the top of the 14th as Travis Tokarek reached on an error and Hunter Leeper drew a walk, but a groundout ended the inning.

The Bombers broke through in the 15th. Dey drew a two-out walk and came home on a base hit by Del Rio. Nevada tied it again in the bottom of the 15th thanks to an error and a wild pitch.
