State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners sophomore guard/forward Zhanesha Dickerson is one of 40 players to be selected to play at the seventh annual NJCAA Women’s Coaches Association All-Star Weekend.

The 40 players will arrive in Niceville, Florida today, have practices Friday and play games Saturday and Sunday at Northwest Florida State College.

Dickerson started 20 games her freshman season at SFCC, racking up 13.3 points, seven rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

“Zhanesha will get to see where she stands among some of the best players,” Lady Roadrunners coach Kevin Bucher said in a press release. “It gives her an opportunity to gain national exposure through the various recruiting services at the event and the coaches who attend. It is a great opportunity for her to showcase her talent and help her prepare for next season.”

Dickerson earned All-Region First Team honors and Missouri Community College Athletic Conference First-Team honors as a freshman.
