Gremlins golf wins quadrangular in Eugene

The Sacred Heart girls golf team won a quadrangular Wednesday at the Redfield Golf and Country Club in Eugene.

The Gremlins scored a 189 as a team, which was 19 strokes better than Eugene. New Bloomfield finished with a 228 and Eldon totaled a 242.

Olivia Sobaski had an eagle and two birdies during the nine-hole event, carding a 35 to take medalist honors.

Abby Smeltzer took fourth place individually with a 47. Claire Sobaski shot a 51. Anjanae Williams and Noelle Sunnarborg shot a 56 and 58, respectively.

The Gremlins are back in action at 4 p.m. Tuesday when they travel to California to take on the Lady Pintos.
