Knob Noster tennis beats conference foe Higginsville

The Knob Noster Lady Panthers got a conference win Thursday against Higginsville, edging the Lady Huskers 5-4.

“This win is very important to us,” said Knob Noster coach Rachel Ledbetter. “We don’t just count this as a win in the record books, but as a team, we count it in our hearts and minds.”

Alexis Corona got a lose 9-7 win at No. 3 singles. Elizabeth Eccleton won 8-2 in the No. 4 singles match.

In No. 5 singles, Kali Randall won 9-7.

Jessica Yates and Corona won 8-4 in the No. 1 doubles match

The No. 2 doubles team of Alexis Allen and Eccleton won 8-2.
