The Smith-Cotton swimming and diving team took third out of four teams at Thursday’s West Central Conference Meet at the Joe Arbisi Memorial Pool.
Warrensburg won with 470 points. St. Pius X took second with 399 points with S-C taking third with 357 points. Nevada had 192 points.
Ladislav Soucek took fourth in the 200 IM in 2:42.11. He also took sixth in the 100 backstroke in 1:15.12.
Mitchell Lake came in sixth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:04.24. He took seventh in the 50 freestyle in 26.42 seconds.
Felix Sultan was the lone diver in the conference, totalling 278.090 points Thursday. He also participated in the 100 backstroke, taking seventh in 1:21.93.
Andriy Usyk came home sixth in the 200 freestyle in 2:38.98.
In the 500 freestyle, Tim Spear took seventh in 7:53.74.
Baylie Proffitt took seventh in the 100 breastroke 1:28.52.
