Pettis County added 46 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 1,616, according to the Pettis County Health Center.
There are now 456 active cases and 1,136 residents have been released to normal activity. Fifteen county residents are hospitalized seeking treatment for the COVID-19 virus.
Beginning Oct. 30, the PCHC office will be closed to the public on Fridays.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported the statewide total of 60,869 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. There are now 2,641 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri as of Wednesday afternoon.
