One injured in Morgan crash
A woman was injured in a crash at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday in Morgan County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Yarelis Sotos Cortes, 31, of Jefferson City, was driving eastbound on U.S. Route 50, east of Quail Road, when a turkey flew into the path of the vehicle, struck the windshield, entered the vehicle and struck Cortes.
Cortes suffered minor injuries and was taken to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.
