One seriously injured in Saline crash

A man was seriously injured in a crash at 4:50 p.m. Thursday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Betty V. Kelson, 70, of Malta Bend, was driving southeast on state Route D at state Route P when her vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch.

Her passenger, Russell W. Kelso, 75, of Malta Bend, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall by Saline County Emergency Medical Services.

One injured in Pettis motorcycle accident

A man was injured in an accident at 5:57 p.m. Thursday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, James A. Bales, 52, of Sedalia, was driving a motorcycle west on state Route H at McCarty Road when a deer entered his lane. Bales attempted to avoid a collision and his vehicle began skidding. His vehicle then overturned and ejected Bales.

Bales suffered minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Pettis County Ambulance District.

One injured in police vehicle crash

A man was injured in a crash at 1:39 a.m. Friday in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Nevin M. Seaton, 27, of Camdenton, was driving south on Horsetail Road, 179 feet west of Bethel Avenue, in a fully-marked emergency police vehicle. He was in pursuit of a suspect vehicle in a field and upon attempting to return to the roadway his vehicle collided the ditch, crossed over the center of the roadway and collided with another ditch.

Seaton suffered minor injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Warsaw/Lincoln Ambulance District.
