One injured in Benton crash

A woman was injured in a crash at 1:32 p.m. Friday in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mary P. Martin, 62, of Warsaw, was driving southbound on Cold Springs Avenue when she failed to yield and struck an eastbound vehicle on state Route 7 driven by Erle D. Henderson, 60, of Belton,

Henderson’s passenger, Sherri L. Henderson, 54, of Belton, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District.

One killed in Morgan crash

A woman was killed in a crash at 3:05 p.m. Friday o in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Elizabeth K. Raney, 30, of Gravios Mills, was driving north on state Route WW, 1,500 feet north of Hiawatha Drive, when she failed to negotiate a curve. Her vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway, traveled back on and off the left side of the roadway, and overturned, ejecting Raney.

Raney was pronounced dead at the scene by Morgan County Coroner Jason Denman.

The report stated Raney was not wearing a safety device.

One injured, arrested in Johnson crash

A man was arrested after being injured in a crash at 3:48 p.m. Friday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Anthony L. Husky, 53, of Warrensburg, was driving a motorcycle north on state Route 13 at Northeast 600 Road when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Husky suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

Husky was arrested at 4:13 p.m. in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and operating a motorcycle without an endorsement.

One injured in Morgan crash

A man was injured in a crash at 5:55 p.m. Friday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, William H. Inlow, 67, of Rocky Mount, was driving east on Wonderland Road, west of Howard Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree stump, became airborne, struck two more trees and came to a rest on its side.

One injured in Pettis crash

A woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1 p.m. Sunday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mindell K. Reid, 51, of Houstonia, was driving westbound on U.S. Route 50, when Reid attempted to turn right onto state Route O and was struck in the rear by another westbound vehicle driven by Madison J. Ari, 18, of Smithton. Reid’s vehicle overturned.

Arl suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia by Pettis County Ambulance District.
