One injured in Benton crash
A woman was injured in a crash at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Stacy R. Saffel, 42, of Edwards, was driving south on Poorboy Road, just north of McLaughlin Road, when she swerved to avoid an uninvolved vehicle. Saffel lost control and her vehicle began skidding on the wet roadway before it traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence.
Saffel suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District.
