The League of Women Voters Sedalia-Pettis County will host a candidate forum with the candidates for Pettis County Sheriff at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Sedalia Municipal Building.
Sheriff Kevin Bond, a Republican, and Independent candidate Brad Anders will participate in the forum. State Rep. Brad Pollitt, R-Sedalia, will speak in favor of Amendment 3 and Sean Nicholson, campaign director for No on 3, will speak against it. Pollitt, who is up for re-election in the Nov. 3 General Election but is unopposed, will present in person while Nicholson will attend via Zoom.
Citizens may ask questions via Zoom chat.
The event will also be live-streamed on the Democrat’s Facebook page.
