Pettis County added 90 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,809, according to the Pettis County Health Center.
The Health Center also reported two more deaths due to COVID-19 for a total of 30 deaths in Pettis County.
There are now 950 active cases and 1,829 residents have been released to normal activity. The number of hospitalized residents was not available Tuesday. The Health Center’s post stated that number will be updated Wednesday.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a seven-day total of 28,367 cases on Tuesday or an average of 4,052 per day. There were a total of 56 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri during the last seven days, representing an average of eight deaths per day.
