Nov. 16
12:48 p.m.: Officers conducted a subject check on an individual at the corner of West Fourth Street and South Harrison Avenue. The subject had active warrants from the FBI in Indianapolis. Samuel Perez Jr., 27, of the 600 block of West Fourth Street, was arrested for the warrants.
8:01 p.m.: Officers attempted a traffic stop near the intersection of West 18th Street and South Grand Avenue for a license violation. The vehicle failed to yield, which led to a short vehicle pursuit before the driver bailed on foot. The driver was caught a short distance later. The driver resisted arrest and bit an officer in the arm, causing an injury. He was also found to have several active warrants. John A. Zaremba, 29, of Hughesville, was arrested for the warrants, felony third-degree assault, possession of a controlled substance and felony resisting arrest.
