Nov. 2

2:09 p.m.: An officer spoke with an employee at a business in the 700 block of West 16th Street who reported that on Oct. 31 a couple purchased $19.07 worth of merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill.

6:08 p.m.: Officers took a possible theft report that occurred near the Katy Trail State Park parking lot and Clarendon Road. An individual reported a silver bicycle had fallen out of their vehicle while they were leaving the trail. A witness reported seeing a bicycle on Clarendon be picked up by a subject in a silver minivan. The bicycle was worth $700.

Nov. 3

1:58 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to a business in the 1600 block of South Harrison Avenue in reference to a theft report. An employee reported a trailer hitch to a company vehicle was stolen around 3:12 a.m. Oct. 21. The incident was recorded on security footage.

7:22 p.m.: An officer took a report over the phone of a sexual assault. The individual reported they had been sexually assaulted by a person known to them while living in Sedalia when they were a juvenile. The suspect was identified and the investigation was ongoing at the time of the report.
