Arrests

Oct. 12

10:55 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1400 block of Thompson Boulevard for a report of a motor vehicle collision. It was reported the suspect vehicle had been in an accident involving another vehicle near West 16th Street and Thompson Boulevard. The suspect refused medical treatment and was arrested. Carol R. Gann, 52, of West 10th Street, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

Oct. 13

8:07 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Moniteau Avenue for a disturbance. Upon officers’ arrival, contact was made with the suspect and a subject. The subject stated they had been assaulted by the suspect and had scratches on their neck and arms. While the suspect was being taken into custody, she began to pull away and continued to resist as she was placed in a Wrap. Anita M. Burke, 47, of the 600 block of South Moniteau Avenue, was arrested for felony third-degree assault and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

Oct. 14

1:59 a.m.: A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane and speeding. After an investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Robert A. Modrall, 40, of Warrensburg, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Incidents

Oct. 12

4:37 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue for a report of a possible burglary. The resident stated while they were in the back of their residence they heard the door get kicked in. The individual then ran into their bedroom and called the police. They said they could hear a man’s voice but could not hear everything they were saying. When they came out of the room the man was gone. The individual believed there were others with the man and was unsure who exactly kicked in the door. They gave the name of the individual they thought the suspect was. The estimated damage to the door was worth $100 and nothing was missing from the residence.

Oct. 13

9:21 a.m.: An officer spoke with an individual in reference to two license plates being stolen from their vehicle. The plates had been stolen while the vehicle was parked in the 1000 block of South Prospect Avenue. The plates were entered as stolen.
