According to a City of Sedalia press release, Evergy notified the city that beginning at 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 to 8 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, Winchester Dive will be closed from 10th Street to just south of the Walmart truck entrance to allow for light pole replacement.
Travelers in the area will need to plan for alternate routes during this period as Winchester Road will be closed to all through traffic in the area. The work is weather and equipment dependent and as such may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns.
