June 4 Police Reports

This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

June 2

2:05 a.m.: Samuel Aaron Bartlett, 31, of the 2400 block of West Main Street, was arrested in the 800 block of Thompson Boulevard on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

12:10 p.m.: Jeffery F. Knifong, 33, of Lee’s Summit, was arrested in the 1900 block of South Prospect Avenue on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:20 p.m.: DeAndre A.L. Laney, 18, of the 500 block of East Fifth Street, was arrested in the 500 block of East Fourth Street on charges of destruction of non-city property and leaving the scene of an accident.

5:01 p.m.: Tony R. Fulcher, 18, of Warrensburg, was arrested on charges of first degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.

10:33 p.m.: Jovan Rucker, 38, of Kansas City, was issued a municipal court summons in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard for open container.


May 19

5:15 p.m.: A victim in the 1800 block of Appletree Lane reported a Menard’s rebate check belonging to him was stolen in the mail. Menard’s told the victim it had been used to make a purchase in the store.

June 1

7:32 a.m.: $55 and an Acer computer, valued at $450, were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of East 13th Street.

June 2

9:47 a.m.: A 2002 gray Ford Explorer was reported stolen by a suspect familiar to the victim in the 1600 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

11:24 a.m.: A Yamaha scooter, valued at $1,000, was reported stolen from the yard of a residence in the 600 block of East Ninth Street.

1:25 p.m.: A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot in the 2900 block of Clinton Road.

3:50 p.m.: A blue Honda Mo-Ped, valued at $200, was reported stolen from the front porch of a residence in the 300 block of East Boonville Street.

June 2

8:05 p.m.: Juan C. Rodriguez, 23, of Mission, Texas, was arrested in Benton County on charges of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
