June 12 Police Reports

This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

June 2

2:03 p.m.: A possible sexual assault that occurred between a juvenile female and an adult male in March 2014 was reported in the 500 block of North Prospect Avenue.

June 10

2:19 p.m.: A 20-inch boy’s bicycle, painted yellow, was found in the 400 block of East Seventh Street.

3:11 p.m.: A victim reported she was assaulted by a suspect who unlawfully entered her residence in the 1700 block of East Fourth Street. The suspect left the residence prior to officer arrival.

4:26 p.m.: Damage was reported on the Scott Joplin plaque in Maple Leaf Park near the intersection of East Main Street and North Lamine Avenue.

June 11

5:46 a.m.: A wallet was found by a newspaper stand in the 200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

7:27 a.m.: An unknown suspect reportedly threw rocks and railroad spikes at windows on the back side of a building in the 900 block of West Main Street, causing about $8,000 in damage.

9:16 a.m.: A bag of tools, valued at $40, was reported stolen from on top of a vehicle in the 200 block of West Clay Street.

June 10

3:47 p.m.: Brianna L. Polk, 28, of Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:18 p.m.: Michelle M. Penn, 44, of Liberty, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana, speeding, and failure to drive on the right half of the road.
