A Warrensburg teenager was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 3 p.m. Friday in Johnson County.
Alexis N. Kengor, 19, was injured as she was driving a vehicle eastbound on county Road SW200 three tenths of a mile of state Route 58 when her vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned, coming to a rest on its wheels according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Kengor, who reports indicate was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, was transported to Lees Summit Medical Center for treatment of Minor injuries.
Three Colorado residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident at 7:48 p.m. Saturday in Benton County.
Richard C. McCaskill, 68 of Frederick, Colorado, was driving a vehicle on state route 7 at Sun Hill road when his vehicle traveled off the roadway, striking a culvert and a telephone pole according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
McCaskill and one passenger in the vehicle, Leslie A. Gilmer, 54 of North Glenn, Colorado were both taken to Golden Valley Hospital by Warsaw EMS for treatment of minor injuries. A second passenger, Marion A. Palmer, 51 of also of North Glenn was taken by air EMS to St. Luke’s Kansas City on the Plaza for treatment of moderate injuries.
Reports indicate McCaskill was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
