Missouri State Fair Midway carnival glows with evening fun

A nearly full moon shines through the Crazy Mouse roller coaster on the Midway at the Missouri State Fair Tuesday evening. A Full Sturgeon Moon occurs today. According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the Sturgeon Moon was named by Native American fishing tribes who were better able to catch sturgeon under its glow. In Missouri it will bring added light to night-time Fair activities.
