Liberty/TAMBO Apartments, HUD-subsidized housing located in Sedalia, recently completed the Federal REAC inspection and was awarded 99 out of 100 points.
According to a news release, REAC inspections are mandated and regulated through HUD for all public and multi-family assisted housing properties. They are conducted to ensure assisted families have housing that is decent, safe, sanitary and in good condition.
Inspection scores determine how frequently each property is required to participate in a REAC. A score higher than 90 awards a three-year re-inspection period. Liberty/TAMBO Property Manager Pam Hunter said the apartments “have always scored so highly that they repeatedly earn the three-year inspection schedule.”
Liberty/TAMBO Apartments provide an independent living community for people 62 and older with low income.
