Aresteo E. Santana, 23, of Marshall sustained moderate injuries at 12:40 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Santana was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer east on Highway 240 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, over corrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Santana was arrested for driving while intoxicated and released for care.
It is unknown if Santana was wearing a seat belt. He was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Saline County Ambulance.
