Sept. 24

1 a.m.: Enrique Chima Belli, 21, of the 700 block of East 10th Street was arrested after officers attempted a vehicle stop near South Engineer Avenue and East Fourth Street. Belli continued to drive for six blocks at a speed averaging about 15 miles per hour. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and charged with driving without a license, resisting arrest and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

3:27 a.m.: Keenan A. Balark, 29, of the 2600 block of Bristol Lane was arrested after a traffic stop for failing to dim headlights. Balark was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license and a charge for no proof of insurance. After the arrest it was discovered he also had an active City of Sedalia failure to appear warrant.

11:51 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a theft report. They listed property as stolen and collected information for a report.

Incidents

Sept. 24

2:41 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of West Main Street for the report of a stolen trailer. They gathered information and entered the trailer as missing.

5:58 p.m.: Sedalia police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 800 block of South Limit Avenue. A vehicle high-centered on the positive median barrier. No other vehicles had been struck and no property damage observed.

The incident occurred when the operator of the vehicle lost contro, spun out and struck the barrier. The operator was issued a citation for careless and imprudent driving.

1 p.m.: Deputies responded to the Pettis County Sheriff's office lobby for a report of the fraudulent use of a credit card.
