Lincoln man in serious condition after North 65 accident

Dustin L. Renfro, 28, of Lincoln, suffered serious injuries at 5:23 p.m. Wednesday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Michael L. McGraw, 75, of Kansas, was waiting at the light at northbound Highway 65 just south of Rebar Road, with a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Vera Aveda Vashti Thomas, 25, of Marshall, and a 2021 Ram 1500 driven by Jared D. Johnson, 45, of Sedalia.

The front of Renfro’s 2003 Ford Explorer struck the rear of the Silverado, which struck the rear of the Equinox, which struck the rear of the Ram 1500.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt except for Renfro, who was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia.
