Carl W. Larson, 56, of Blue Springs, suffered moderate injuries, and Daryl M. Menhennet, 71, of Tipton, suffered minor injuries at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Larson was traveling south on state Route 5 in a 2002 Chevrolet Express van when he stopped at the stop sign and pulled out in front of a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado driven west on Highway 50 by Menhennet.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Larson was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center. Menhennet was transported by private vehicle to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
