Odessa motorcyclist in serious condition after Johnson accident

David M. Long, 57, of Odessa, sustained serious injuries at 2:36 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Long was driving a 2020 Harley-Davidson south on Highway 13 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, overturned, and was ejected. 

He was not wearing a helmet and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence. 

Warrensburg man hurt in Johnson accident 

Stephen R. Olvitt, 22, of Warrensburg, sustained minor injuries at 2:45 a.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Olvitt was driving a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta east on U.S. Highway 50 when he traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected and traveled off the left side of the road, striking a tree. 

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

Higginsville motorcyclist injured in Johnson accident

Hunter C. Burton, 26, of Higginsville, sustained moderate injuries at 6:23 p.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Burton was driving a 2008 Triumph Sprint east on Route 58 and was passing another vehicle when an unknown mechanical defect occurred with the front tire. The vehicle began skidding and ejected Burton.

He was wearing a helmet and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

Warrensburg woman injured in scooter accident

Kelly M. Graham, 49, of Warrensburg, sustained moderate injuries at 8:58 p.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Graham was driving a 2021 Geely 20 series scooter south on Business Route 13 just south of Southeast 190th Road when she struck an animal in the roadway, overturned, and was ejected. 

She was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

Three injured in Morgan County accident

Phillip L. Baehr, 22, of Kansas City, sustained serious injuries, and Tyler C. Woods, 23, of Lee's Summit, and Anna C. Buchanan, 60, of Sedalia, both sustained moderate injuries at 7:18 a.m. Monday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Ford Escape driven by Woods west on U.S. Highway 50 east of Route 135 crossed the centerline and struck a 2004 Dodge Stratus head-on. Both vehicles then traveled off the south side of the roadway.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Baehr and Buchanan were transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center. Woods was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Bothwell.
