Two injured Lake of the Ozarks boating accident

Erica F. Dicresce, 38, of St Louis, sustained moderate injuries, and a 13-year-old girl, also from St Louis, sustained minor injuries at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County boating accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, A 2022 Seadoo driven by Shannon M. Winkle, 38, of St. Louis, was in the Lick Branch Cove of the Lake of the Ozarks and collided with a 2022 Seadoo driven by Dicresce.

The two females were wearing floatation devices and were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. 

Warsaw woman hurt in Benton accident

Lora J. Mitchell, 69, of Warsaw, sustained minor injuries at 1:08 p.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mitchell was driving a 2003 Ford north on state Highway 7 at West Dam Access Road when she attempted to cross state Highway 7, she drove into the path of oncoming traffic and was struck by a 2013 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Kenneth M. Hass, 78, of Warsaw.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Mitchell was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton.

Stover man hurt in Morgan accident

Bobby D. Severns, 62, of Stover, sustained minor injuries at noon Friday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Severns was driving a 2007 Ford Escape North on Ivy Bend Road South of Proctor Road when he failed to negotiate a right curve and traveled off the right side of the roadway overturning and coming to rest on the roof. 

Severns was wearing a seat belt and was transported by private conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. 

Three injured, one seriously in Morgan County accident 

Christopher A. Gilio, 31, of Lenexa, Kansas, sustained moderate injuries, Angela K. Gerstner, 50, of Lenexa, Kansas sustained minor injuries, and Christopher A. Gilio, 56, of Lenexa, Kansas, sustained serious injuries at 5:20 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.

The crash occurred as Gerstner was driving a 2001 EZGO golf cart north on Red Arrow Road north of Cook Road. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and overturned. 

Gerstner was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated–alcohol-with serious physical injury, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a traffic crash. She was released for medical attention.

No one in the golf cart was wearing a seat belt, the Gilio’s were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. Gerstner was transported by private conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
