Mr. and Mrs Charles Gerke celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 18.
Beverly Jeanell Holt and Charles Vincent Gerke were married Aug. 18, 1973, at the First Baptist Church in Appleton City by the Rev. Charles Pence.
Mr. Gerke is retired from the City of Sedalia and the United States Army National Guard. Mrs. Gerke is retired from My Bloomin Business.
They have four children, Betsy Gerke, Carrie French, Tracy Gerke and Brent Gerke; and seven grandchildren.
