Mr. and Mrs. Dean Guier, of Sweet Springs, will celebrate 50 years of marriage this October.
Paula Deuschle and Dean Guier were married Oct. 6, 1973, at East Sedalia Baptist Church, by the Rev. George Turner.
The couple has three children, Greg (Carrie) Guier, of Sweet Springs, Kristal (James) Arnold, of Olathe, Kansas, and Clint (Jennifer) Guier, of Rocheport; and nine grandchildren.
They have raised livestock and farmed side by side in Pettis County for 50 years.
The couple celebrated with a family trip in July to northern Michigan.
