Missouri SBDC to host Essential Technology Training for Small Businesses webinars

The Missouri Small Business Development Center (MOSBDC) at State Fair Community College will host four webinar trainings titled Essential Technology Training for Small Businesses. Participants may register for the complete series for $99 or individual sessions for $39 each. To register for all four sessions, go to https://missouri.ecenterdirect.com/events/24852.

The first session, "How to Manage Your WordPress Website," will be presented from noon to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 25. Topics will include: discover what WordPress is and if you should use it; learn how to find and set up your WordPress theme; how to customize your WordPress website by editing pages, adding images, and publishing your website. The second session, "Success Through e-Commerce," will be presented online from noon to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 1. Topics will include: which website and e-Commerce platforms work best for you; how to set up an e-Commerce store; and how to launch your store and refine strategies to maximize profits. The third session, "Unlock the Power of AI and ChatGPT for Your Small Business," will be presented online from noon to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 8. Discussion will include what are AI (artificial intelligence) and ChatGPT and how these can elevate marketing, communication and content. The fourth session, "Future Proofing Your Business: Web 3.0, NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and Blockchain," will be presented online from noon to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 15. This final session defines blockchain (shared, immutable ledger), NFTs and Web 3.0 and how to use these for small businesses.
