This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Sept. 28

8:12 p.m.: Linda Louise David, 65, of the 400 block of East Morgan Street was arrested after an officer was dispatched to Prime Time, 216 East Broadway Blvd., for an accident with a possibly intoxicated driver. David was intoxicated and a search of her purse found methamphetamine. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and charged with DWI and possession of a controlled substance.

Oct. 6

9:19 p.m.: Jamila Tashae Jordan, 28, of the 1600 block of West Ninth Street was arrested after a traffic stop near South Montgomery Avenue and East 10th Street for an equipment violation. Jordan had a remote driving status and multiple warrants. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked on the warrants as a request for a charge of driving with a revoked driver's license was submitted to the prosecutor.

Oct. 7

2:22 a.m.: Domingo Caal Choc, 26, of the 700 block of West 11th Street was arrested after a traffic stop near East Fifth Street and South Hancock Avenue for a stop sign violation. The intoxicated driver was transported to the Pettis County Jail and charged with driving while intoxicated.

3:31 a.m.: Alberto Caal Y Caal, 48, of the 700 block of West 11th Street was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop at West 11th Street and South Grand Avenue after they witnessed the vehicle make several lane violations before driving into a yard. They identified the driver and found him to be intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

4:24 a.m.: Felicia Lynn Bryd, 29, Of the 300 block of East 4th Street was arrested after officers were dispatched for a domestic disturbance. They conducted an investigation and identified a primary physical aggressor. Bryd was placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

9:15 p.m.: Cristian Rodriguez, 27, of the 1100 block of East Broadway Boulevard was arrested after an attempted traffic stop on a vehicle near West 16th Street and South Prospect Avenue. The vehicle failed to stop, shut off his lights, and drove down an alley at a high rate of speed. It crashed into a light pole knocking out power in the area.

The driver then fled on foot and was arrested following a short pursuit. Rodriguez had a revoked driving status and was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with revoked driver's license, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest, and careless operating of a motor vehicle with vision reducing material.

Oct. 8

12:26 a.m.: Devin Riley, 29, of the 800 block of West Seventh Street was arrested after officers responded to Fitters, 500 South Ohio Avenue, in reference to a subject fighting. Riley was issued a municipal citation for public peace disturbance.

2:20 a.m.: Wraymond Jess Marriott Jr, 54, of the 900 block of South Ohio was arrested after a traffic stop near West Broadway Boulevard and South Park Avenue on a vehicle that failed to maintain a lane. He was transported to Bothwell for a blood draw and then transported home. A charge of DWI was submitted to the prosecutor.

Incidents

Sept. 28

2:38 a.m.: An officer spoke with a resident in the 700 block of West Broadway Boulevard who reported that someone entered her residence without permission. Suspect information was obtained.

Oct. 3

4:35 p.m.: An officer responded to the 1800 block of East Fifth Street to investigate a reported violation of an ex parte order. The victim had recently obtained the ex parte against the neighbor but the neighbor spoke to her just prior to officers arrival and threatened to call the police on her. Dispatch confirmed the ex parte had been served the previous day to the suspect and does specifically restrict the suspect from communicating with the victim in any way. Charges have been requested for the violation.

Oct. 6

10:12 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to KFC, 1513 S. Limit Ave., in reference to a burglary report. The manager stated someone gained access to the restaurant overnight and damaged an interior door.

7:02 p.m.: An officer responded to Burger King, 1102 S. Limit Ave., in reference to a burglary at the business. The complainant reported a forced entrance through the drive-thru window. A suspect that entered the business remained inside for an unknown period of time.

Oct. 7

1:04 a.m.: Officers were patrolling on South Grand Avenue when they observed someone waving them down. A license plate was recovered from the middle of the street and turned in. A report was generated documenting the incident.

1:04 a.m.: Officers responded to the 1300 block of West Sixth Street in reference to a medical emergency. They were able to start chest compressions until the fire department and Pettis County ambulance District arrived. The subject was later transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for further medical treatment and a general information report was created.

6:06 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 3100 block of West 10th Street in reference to a theft report. The victim stated overnight someone rummaged through his truck and stole a buck knife.

9:54 p.m.: Officers responded to Buffalo Wild Wings, 4401 Wisconsin Ave., in reference to property damage. A subject had smashed one of the complainants' vehicle windows and stole several items. There is no suspect information.

Oct. 8

1:33 p.m.: An officer spoke with an individual who had been hanging around the department for approximately seven hours on and off. They never attempted to make contact with officers and appeared to be setting up their belongings around the department to stay. The individual was told to gather their belongings and move along, but just told the officers to throw all their stuff away and walked off. The items were entered into evidence for safe keeping.

5:35 p.m.: Officers responded to the 2300 block of East 16th Street in reference to a domestic assault. They made contact with a subject who stated she was assaulted by her boyfriend. Charges have been submitted to the prosecutor's office.

11:15 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Engineer Avenue for the report of multiple subjects with firearms threatening to shoot someone in a residence. They arrived and a search of the area found multiple subjects around a vehicle in an alley. They determined not to be involved and the call was unfounded. A report was generated to document the incident.

Oct. 6

11:45 p.m.: Anthony L. Bean, 35, of Odessa, was arrested in Johnson County for felony driving while revoked, no insurance, and failure to register a motor vehicle. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.

Oct. 7

8:04 p.m.: Steven J. Cushing, 29, of Raytown, was arrested at Henry County for driving while intoxicated, following too closely, and failure to maintain a single lane. He was transported to the Henry County Jail and released.

9:52 p.m.: Timothy L. Smith, 57, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County for felony possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

Oct. 8

12:52 a.m.: Savannah M. Dawson, 22, of Deatsville, Alabama, was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
