This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

April 20

9:26 a.m.: Koehn Leath Eisenberg, 28, of Sedalia, was arrested after an officer responded to Bothwell Regional Health Center in reference to a possible domestic assault. The assault occurred in the 2600 block of West Broadway Boulevard at approximately 7:26 p.m. April 20. Officers located the suspect in the Bothwell parking lot and transported him to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24-hour hold pending state charges of third-degree domestic assault. 

April 21

1:38 a.m.: Nadelene B. Meseky, 25, of the 1200 block of East Ninth Street, was arrested after an officer observed her turn from northbound Moniteau Avenue to westbound Broadway Boulevard pulling into the inside lane. She was observed slowly drifting into the outside lane while failing to signal, remaining on the dashed white line for around a half-block. The officer initiated a traffic stop at South Sneed Avenue and Broadway Boulevard. Meseky had a revoked driver's license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges.

Incidents

April 15

7:35 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 2600 block of East Broadway Boulevard in reference to property damage. A known suspect did a burnout in the parking lot and left skid marks. Management did not want to prosecute but requested the incident be documented for insurance purposes. Management also wanted the driver trespassed from the property. The officer had not been able to make contact with a driver at the time of the report to issue the warning. 

April 20

7:29 a.m.: An officer responded to a business in the 1700 block of West Ninth Street for a burglary report. The business owner reported a window to the business was broken overnight and the business was entered. A small amount of money and two cases of Mountain Dew were reported missing. At the time of the report, a suspect had not been located.

8:24 a.m.: An officer responded to a business in the 1100 block of West 10th Street for a burglary report. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the business owner who reported the door had been kicked in and the cash register stolen. At the time of the report, a suspect had not been located.

8:41 a.m.: Officers responded to the 500 block of State Fair Boulevard in reference to a theft from a vehicle. Approximately $252 worth of items were taken from the vehicle. Officers were later able to recover some of the stolen items. No suspects have been identified. 

April 21 

8:37 a.m.: An officer spoke with a victim in reference to a theft. The victim stated her wallet was stolen from her unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of East Chestnut Street. 

1:34 p.m.: An officer responded to a business in the 1400 block of South Limit Avenue for a theft report. A store employee stated someone stole an iPhone 11 valued at $729 from the business. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been located.

April 21

12:41 p.m.: An officer responded to a business in the 4400 block of Wisconsin Avenue for a theft report. The victim stated that when he went inside the building, he left the windows down for his dog and someone got in the vehicle and took a duffel bag.

6:35 p.m.: Officers responded to the 300 block of South Ohio Avenue for a property damage report. The caller stated she came out of the business to find her tire was slashed. Officers located a subject and determined they were known to the victim. Charges are being requested.

9:43 p.m.: A car was stopped in the area of 18th Street and South Lamine Avenue for no front plate, an expired rear plate, and a no plate light. An investigation revealed a small amount of marijuana from the car, which was seized for destruction. The driver was cited for driving without a license and no proof of insurance.
