This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Feb. 1

8:31 p.m.: Anthony Jimmy Street Jr., 41, of the 300 block of East Second Street, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of South Warren Avenue in reference to a burglary. While officers were on the scene, the subject returned. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a charge of first-degree burglary.

10:58 p.m.: Susan Dawn McNeil, 42, of the 500 block of South Ohio Avenue, was arrested after officers conducted a vehicle stop near South Engineer Avenue and East 17th Street. McNeil had a revoked driving status and was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a state charge of driving with a suspended/revoked license.

Incidents

Jan. 31

8:56 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Massachusetts Avenue. Two large vehicles hit mirrors and one left without providing information.

Arrests

Feb. 1

6:07 p.m.: Cheyenne V. Waggoner, 65, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County for driving while intoxicated and felony possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Benton County Sheriff's Department and released.

8:06 p.m.: Brandon J. Hamilton, 32, of Kansas City, was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

11:47 p.m.: Keenan A. Jones, 20, of Grandview, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated-drugs and speeding. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
