This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Sept. 22

8:08 a.m.: Keith C. Cook, 41, of the 500 block of West Fifth Street, was arrested after a traffic stop for expired registration near East Ninth Street and Crescent Drive. Cook was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released with a charge of driving with a revoked driver's license.

8:48 p.m.: Guy Richard Fehr Jr., 41, of the 100 block of East 13th Street, was arrested after a vehicle stop in the 2500 block of West Broadway Boulevard. Fehr was arrested for driving with a suspended license, transported to the Pettis County Jail, placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of driving with a suspended license, no restraints for child passengers, and failure to maintain insurance. 

Sept. 23

2:13 a.m.: Daniel Farrel Rose, 46, of La Monte, was arrested near State Fair Boulevard and West 16th Street after failing to stop before the stop line, making improper turns, and failing to dim headlights. Rose was intoxicated and was transported to the Sedalia Police Department and released to a sober person with a charge of driving while intoxicated. 

Incidents

Sept. 21

9:55 a.m.: Officers responded to Greg's Auto Sales, 632 E. Broadway Blvd., in reference to a  burglary. The business was broken into while the owner was away and items were taken as well as a vehicle stolen off the lot. The loss was estimated at $4,800. A suspect has not been identified. 

5:27 p.m.: Officers responded to an injury accident on Thompson Boulevard near West 10th Street. A 2018 Chevy Silverado made a northbound turn from a private drive into the path of a 2009 Harley-Davidson Night Train. Motorcycle driver Trey Wilburn, sustained serious injuries from the impact and was transported from the scene by ambulance. The pickup had damage to the left rear side. 

Sept. 22

11:44 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a theft in the 1400 block of South Limit Avenue. A juvenile reported items had been taken from his unlocked vehicle. The ignition had also been punched in an attempt to steal the truck.

Arrests

Sept. 23

2:05 a.m.: Yumi Tsuji, 21, of Marshall, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and a lane violation. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
