Union Pacific Railroad has notified the City of Sedalia that from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, UP will be making improvements to the rail crossings at the street intersections of North Grand Avenue and North Missouri Avenue.
Trucks routinely using these routes will need to detour to North Ohio Avenue in order to access U.S. Highway 65 northbound directly. Other travelers are also advised to plan alternate routes as the roadways will be closed to all through traffic during the planned construction period.
