Mr. and Mrs. Visentin, of Sedalia, will celebrate their 40th anniversary on Sept. 17.
Jerry Visentin and Susan Barnes were married on Sept. 17, 1983, at Emmett Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. John Tygart officiating.
Mr. Visentin was an electronics technician for 40 years and Mrs. Visentin worked for AT&T. They are both retired.
The couple has one child, Dustin Visentin, of South Carolina.
The Visentins plan to celebrate with a fishing trip to the Lake of the Ozarks.
