Commission discusses 2027 road, bridge plans

During the week of Oct. 19 through Oct. 23, the Pettis County Commission accomplished the following:

Monday, Oct. 19

Staff meeting: 911 Communications Director Dannelle Lauder, EMA Director Trisha Rooda, IT Director Brett Denomme, GIS and Grants Director James Theisen, Facilities and Grounds Director Chris Hoke, Road and Bridge Superintendent James Hill.

Tuesday, Oct. 20

The Commission held a county handbook work session with HR and Payroll Specialist Marie Kringle.

The Commission approved the courthouse use form for June 12, 2027 for the West Central Missouri Vintage Auto Club car show.

Thursday, Oct. 22

Western Commissioner Mark Edwards met with Hill and Theisen to discuss road and bridge plans for 2027.

The Commission attended the Economic Development Sedalia-Pettis County’s 2026 Manufacturer’s Milestone Banquet.
