Kansas City teen hurt in Johnson County accident

A 17-year-old girl sustained minor injuries at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the teen was driving a 2016 Nissan Altima west on U.S. Route 50 at Route P when she traveled off the roadway, struck a MoDOT sign, a barbed wire fence and utility pole before coming to rest in a field.

She was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by private conveyance.

Seven-year-old from Green Ridge hurt crashing pink four-wheeler

A seven-year-old female driver from Green Ridge suffered minor injuries at 5:49 p.m. Wednesday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the juvenile was driving a pink four-wheeler north on Ohio Avenue at Minnehaha Road when she attempted to turn left and overturned. The vehicle rolled over the driver who was transported by personal conveyance to Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was wearing a seat belt.
