LCAA presents 5th Street Improv

Liberty Center Association for the Arts will present 5th Street Improv on its main stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13.

The group is witty and silly. Everyone will enjoy a hilarious night of improvisational comedy by 5th Street Improv. The performers are unscripted and create the humor off-the-cuff. Audience suggestions make each performance unique. The show is rated PG. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the Hayden Liberty Center box office, 111 W. Fifth St.  

Mid-Mo Artists Summer Exhibition Opens at UCM Gallery 

 The 2024 Mid-Missouri Artists (MMA) Summer Exhibition hosted by the University of Central Missouri Gallery of Art and Design, 217 E. Clark St., in  Warrensburg is open for viewing through July 19.

There is still time to visit the gallery and view this family-friendly exhibition. Art by members of MMA include a variety of styles and media — realistic to abstract depicting “Some of Our Favorite Things.”

The public is invited to the show reception fhosted rom 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, where they can enjoy listening to music by the New Century Dulcimer Ensemble while viewing the art and meeting the artists. The reception is in conjunction with Warrensburg’s Wednesday Art Walk.
