UPDATE
The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a Tornado Warning for West central Pettis County in central Missouri until 7 p.m. Monday.
According to the NWS, at 6:27 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over La Monte, or near Whiteman Air Force Base, moving east at 30 mph. A tornado and quarter-size hail are possible. Locations impacted include Sedalia, La Monte and Hughesville.
NWS has also issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Pettis County and Southwestern Cooper County until 7:15 p.m.
According to NWS, at 6:52 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Sedalia, moving east at 30 mph. NWS states 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail are possible. Locations impacted include Sedalia, Smithton, Otterville, Sedalia Regional Airport and Clifton City.

The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a Tornado Warning for Northern Pettis County in central Missouri until 6:30 p.m. Monday.
According to the NWS, at 5:45 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near La Monte, or 7 miles northeast of Knob Noster, moving northeast at 20 mph. A tornado and quarter-size hail are possible.
Locations impacted include La Monte, Houstonia and Hughesville.
Damage to roofs, windows, vehicles and trees is likely. People living in those areas are urged to seek shelter immediately.
According to the Pettis County Sheriff, all storm shelters in Pettis County have been unlocked.
The NWS has also issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northwestern Pettis County and Southeastern Johnson County in Missouri until 7 p.m. Monday.
According to the NWS, at 6:12 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Knob Noster, moving east at 25 mph. NWS states 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail are possible.
Locations impacted include Sedalia, Knob Noster, Whiteman Air Force Base, La Monte, Houstonia and Hughesville.
