Justin Bray and Jeff Paxton with the City of Sedalia were operating the city’s street sweeper on West Broadway Boulevard near South Limit Avenue on Tuesday morning. The unusual part about that is the maintenance of Broadway, also known as U.S. Highway 50, is usually handled by Missouri Department of Transportation crews. In this operation, Sedalia workers are cleaning the MoDOT right-of-way as MoDOT crews direct traffic.
