Warsaw woman injured in Benton accident

A Warsaw woman sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash at 10:10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16 in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Emilee D. Jackson, 26, was driving a Toyota Camry north on Highway 7, south of Route PP, when she lost control on the snow-covered roadway. She traveled off the right side of the road and her vehicle overturned.

Jackson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Odessa woman hurt in Johnson crash

An Odessa woman sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 11:04 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16 in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gabriel Gurau, 61, of Springfield, was driving a 2016 Volvo north on state Route 131 at Northwest 700th Road when he slid into the southbound lanes and struck a southbound 2013 Toyota driven by 18-year-old Aaliya J. Logan head-on.

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt.

Logan was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Woman injured in Henry County crash

A Lowry City woman sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16 in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mary A. Minton, 35, was driving a 2003 Ford F250 south on state Route 13 on the Grand River Bridge when she was struck in the rear by an unknown vehicle. The second vehicle continued traveling south on Route 13.

Minton, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Golden Valley ambulance for medical treatment.

Clinton man injured in Henry wreck

A Clinton man sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 11:52 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16 in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Nicholas K. Simmons, 18, was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram south on state Route 13 at the Grand River Bridge when he lost control on the snow-covered roadway, causing his vehicle to strike the concrete wall.

Simmons, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Rocky Mount woman killed in Morgan crash

A Rocky Mount woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident at 10:50 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16 in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Vicky L. Williams, 56, was driving a 1995 Jeep Wrangler north on Route W, south of Indian Creek Lane, when she lost control of her vehicle due to the road conditions, which caused her vehicle to travel off the right side of the road. The vehicle overturned and Williams was partially ejected. The vehicle landed on top of the driver and came to rest on its top.

Williams, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by Morgan County Coroner Dr. Jones.
