Three injured in Johnson crash

Three individuals were injured in a crash at 1:45 p.m. Saturday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, David R. Craddock, 21, of Warrensburg, was driving eastbound on U.S. Route 50 at Northwest 1601 Road when a northbound vehicle driven by Katelyn N. Schuler, 18, of Kingsville, failed to yield. Craddock’s vehicle struck Schuler’s and both vehicles traveled off the roadway into the median and struck a traffic sign.

Schuler suffered minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by a private vehicle. Craddock and his occupant, Ryan F. Roberts, 20, of Kansas City, also suffered minor injuries and were also taken to WMMC by Johnson County Ambulance District.

Teen injured in Johnson accident

A teenager was injured in an accident at 10:45 p.m. Saturday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ethan S. Thomason, 17, of Grain Valley, was driving westbound on Northwest 800 Road, 700 feet east of state Route Z, when a vehicle traveled into the roadway and Thomason’s vehicle struck it.

Thomason suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit by private vehicle.

One injured in Saline crash

A man was injured in a crash at 1 a.m. Monday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jacob A. Wise, 27, of Marshall, was driving westbound on state Route 240, east of Eastwood Street, when his vehicle traveled off the roadway several times before running into a ditch.

Wise suffered minor injuries and was taken by Slater Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

One injured in Pettis crash

A man suffered minor injuries in a crash at 7:05 a.m. Monday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Randall O. York, 66, of Blue Springs, was driving southbound on U.S. Route 65 at Shannon Road when his vehicle rear-ended another southbound vehicle driven by Robert D. Wideman, 50, of Rocheport. Wideman’s vehicle then skidded off the roadway and struck an embankment.

Wideman suffered minor injuries and was transported by the Pettis County Ambulance District.

One injured in weather-related crash

A man was injured in a crash at 12:50 p.m. Monday in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Johnny Vasquez, 51, of Kansas City, was driving northbound on state Route 13 on the Deepwater Bridge when he lost control of his vehicle on the slush-covered roadway and his vehicle struck a concrete barrier.

Vasquez suffered minor injuries and was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton by Golden Valley Emergency Medical Services.
