Incidents

Dec. 27

2:20 p.m.: An officer responded to the 1600 block of South Kentucky Avenue for a report of a domestic assault not in progress. The victim said she and her husband were arguing when he choked her and pushed her into the wall, causing the wall to break. The victim had visible injuries but declined medical treatment. The suspect wasn’t at the residence when the officers arrived, and they were unsuccessful in locating him for questioning. They are seeking a charge of third-degree domestic assault against the suspect.

10:50 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a store in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a reported assault. He spoke with the victim, who identified her attackers and filled out a statement. The suspects fled the scene before the officer’s arrival, and they hadn’t been located at the time of the report. An investigation is ongoing.

Arrests

Dec. 27

2:55 p.m.: William H. Howe, 28, of Sedalia, was arrested in Benton County on charges of driving with a revoked license and failure to display valid license plates. Troopers also served felony warrants from Benton and Pettis counties.
