The Sedalia Zone Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Fall Rally, hosted by Holy Cross, Mt. Hulda, and Trinity, all of Cole Camp, was held on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cole Camp.
The theme for the day was based on Psalm 19v14, “Bless Our Lips”. The Missouri District LWML representative was Teresa Backs, President of the Missouri District LWML.
LWML members from Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas are busy with preparations for the National LWML to be held in Oklahoma City from July 8-11, 2027.
The general offering, with LWML mites as the recipient, totaled $647.00. Our speaker for the day was Nicole Heerlin, who (via Zoom) presented the history and programs of Lutheran Hour Ministries; told us about Lutheran Hour floats which have appeared in 75 Rose Bowl parades to date, and the importance of this unusual ministry, and the ongoing LHM ministry to Hispanic people.
Our Love Offering for LHM ministries totaled $821.54. A certificate of individual membership was presented to Susan Johnston. All members are encouraged to save stamps, which is one of our ongoing mission projects.
Church Worker Study Grants are due April 15, 2027 for any students preparing to enter church work. The 2027 Spring Rally will be co-hosted by Trinity, Clinton; St. John’s, Cole Camp; and Trinity, Creighton on Tuesday April 27 at St. John’s.
