During the 2019 Scott Joplin International Ragtime Festival, entertainer Taslimah Bey performs a ragtime composition. Due to COVID, the festival was canceled in 2020 and 2021. This year an in-person festival kicks off Wednesday evening at the downtown Sedalia Pavilion. The festival will host the annual event in downtown Sedalia from June 1-4.
