Two hurt when boat swamps on Truman Lake
Logan C. Ross, 18, of Blue Springs, and Tyler A. Baudendistle, 24, of Loganville, Georgia, received minor injuries at 6 p.m. Sunday in a Truman Lake boating accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Baudendistle was piloting a 12-foot Jon Boat south on the Grand River arm of Truman Lake when water came over the bow, causing the vessel to swamp and become fully submerged.
Neither occupant had a flotation device. They were transported to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton.
