Sept. 17

12:40 a.m.: Giovanni Giuseppe Panichi III, 23, of the 1700 block of South Vermont Avenue was arrested after an officer observed a black motorcycle with no headlight near 17th Street and South and Grand Avenue. A traffic stop near 18th Street and Missouri Avenue collected Panichi’s information. He did not have a valid license and was issued a summons.

Incidents

Sept. 8

11:28 p.m.: A call came in from Break Time, 2801 West Broadway Blvd. regarding a past theft. Information was gathered for a report.

Sept. 17

12:26 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Pettis Street for a dumpster fire. The Sedalia fire department was able to contain the fire and a general information report was created.

Arrests

Sept. 17

12:04 a.m.: Dalton Hermanson of Sedalia and Ramiro Rodriguez of Sedalia were arrested after Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Fourth Street and South Osage Avenue for no plate and other driving infractions.

Hermanson was intoxicated during the stop and one of passengers, Rodriguez, became unruly, refused to follow instructions, and when being taken into custody resisted arrest. Rodriguez was transported to the Pettis County jail for pending a charge of resisting arrest. Hermanson was booked and placed on a 12-hour protective custody hold for driving while intoxicated - prior offender.

12:10 a.m.: Aullnie Colvin was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near East Broadway Boulevard and South Brown Avenue. Colvin was arrested for driving while suspended, transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

Incidents

Sept. 16

Midnight: A Smithton resident in the 33000 block of Lake Creek Road reported to the Sheriff's Office that someone took an unknown amount of money from his safe.

12:17 p.m.: Pettis County deputies responded to the 100 block of Baker Street in La Monte in reference to fraud. Information was gathered and a report was completed.
