Warrensburg woman hurt in Benton County rollover

Dawn M. Barakat, 47, of Warsaw suffered minor injuries at 8:50 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Barakat was driving a 2006 Pontiac west on Missouri Route  H just east of Fire Tower Avenue when she lost control, overcorrected, traveled off the roadway and overturned.

Barakat was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw Lincoln ambulance District.

Two from Sedalia transported after Henry County accident

Jacob C. Astor, 33, of Sedalia suffered minor injuries and James E. Handley, 61, from Sedalia suffered minor injuries at 1:10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, in a Henry County accident.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, a 2021 Nissan Sentra driven west on Missouri Route 52 by Aron J. Handley, 33, of Sedalia failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the roadway, struck a fence, traveled through a pasture, struck another fence and came to rest in a ditch. Neither Astor or Handley were wearing seat belts, they were transported by EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Deepwater man injured in vehicle - mule accident in Henry County

Marshall Landes, 64, of Deepwater suffered minor injuries at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Chevrolet driven by Xiandier A. Stewart, 19, of Deepwater south on CR SW 401 at CR SW 700 struck a mule in the roadway being ridden by Landes.

Landes was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton by ambulance.

Nevada man injured in Henry County accident

Cody L. Kennon, 32, from Nevada suffered moderate injuries at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kennon was driving a 2005 Honda Civic east on Division Street at County Road 701 when he failed to yield at the intersection, ran off the roadway and overturned.

Kennon was wearing a seat belt and was transported by EMS to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
