Sep. 7

12:50 a.m.: Carol Renee Gann, 56, of the 300 block of West 10th Street was arrested after officers were dispatched to West 32nd Street and Greenridge Road for a traffic stop on a vehicle with no tail lights. Gann was intoxicated and had a revoked driving status. A blood draw was conducted and a request for charges of DWI - aggravated offender and driving with a revoked license were submitted to the prosecutor.

3:31 a.m.: Sarah Elizabeth Gerloff, 26, of the 24000 block of 765 Hwy 24 was arrested after officers were dispatched to a multiple vehicle crash near South Missouri Avenue and West Second Street. A vehicle had struck three parked cars and fled. Gerloff was located intoxicated and was transported to the police department. She refused a breath sample so a search warrant for a blood draw was conducted. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of leaving the scene of an accident and DWI alcohol - prior offender.

1:41 p.m.: Bryan L. Rosario, 35, of the 1700 block of South Warren Avenue was arrested after officers responded to West 20th Street and South Ohio Avenue for a party stating there were two intoxicated subjects walking in the roadway and obstructing traffic. Contact was made with the subjects and after a brief interaction with resistive behavior Rosario was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of pedestrian walking in the roadway, disturbance of the peace and resisting arrest.

Sep. 9

12:14 a.m.: Albert Eugene Nash, 28, of the 800 block of West Third Street was arrested after a traffic stop near South Moniteau Avenue and West Broadway Boulevard for expired registration. Nash was intoxicated and a search warrant was obtained for a blood draw. A request for a charge of DWI has been submitted to the prosecutor.

Sep. 3

4:35 p.m.: Officers responded to the lobby of the police department to take a report of fraud. The reporting party said in 2023 they applied for a residence in Sedalia but they never moved in. Now they have a bill due to Evergy for another residence owned by the same property management company that they also never lived in.

5:28 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to Ingram Auto Spa, 300 East 16th Street, in reference to a property damage report. The party said on Sep. 1 a male subject pulled an exterior outlet from the brick wall and left it hanging.

Sep. 6

8:35 a.m.: A call came in from Menards, 4400 Wisconsin Ave. regarding a past theft from the business. Information was gathered for a report.

7:32 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of South Stewart Avenue in reference to a mental health issue. The subject was located and transported to Bothwell at their request.

Sep. 7

9:22 a.m.: A call came in from PetSmart, 2311 Wisconsin Ave. regarding a past theft. Information was gathered for a report, the suspect has not been located.

10:42 a.m.: An officer made contact with a victim who had puncture wounds and lacerations caused by a dog escaping from a residence in the 1700 block of East Seventh Street. The victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation and the dogs were quarantined.

Sep. 8

2:00 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the lobby of the police department in reference to found property. A set of keys was found at the intersection of West Sixth Street and South Ohio Avenue. The officer attempted to locate the vehicle but was unable to do so. The keys were put into evidence for safekeeping.

7:01 p.m.: Officers responded to Woods, 701 East Broadway Blvd. in reference to a theft. The complainant said his vehicle keys were stolen while shopping. The investigation is ongoing.

Sep. 6

11:25 p.m.: Derek Rank of Green Ridge was arrested after deputies attempted a warrant service at 101 South Ohio Avenue. Rank had an active Morgan County warrant and deputies waited near the house and spotted his vehicle, which ran through a stop sign trying to get away. Rank refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated around Green Ridge. Eventually rank pulled into the driveway and was taken into custody. He was intoxicated at twice the legal limit and was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of resisting arrest and driving while intoxicated. Rank was also booked on a Morgan County warrant including charges of statutory rape, child molestation, incest, and statutory sodomy with a person less than 12 years old.

Sep. 8

12:53 a.m.: Timothy Potter was arrested after Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop near East Walnut Street and North Heard Avenue on a white Dodge failing to signal. The driver gave consent to search his vehicle and a broken glass smoking pipe with white crystal residue was located. Charges are being submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor's office.

Sep. 9

917 p.m.: Brayan O. Portillo Leiva, 24, of Rosebud was arrested in Moniteau County for DWI with a person 17 years of age or younger in the vehicle, speeding 6 to 10 mph over the limit, and operating without a valid license - second offense. He was transported to the Moniteau County Jail and released.
